A Message From J.Littles - "A Red Ribbon For A Blue Sky" Campaign AIDS WALK NYC 2014

Peace ya’ll,

My name is J.Littles and I’d like to talk about a serious problem that has affected all races and ages worldwide in our culture, H.I.V./A.I.D.S.

Since the first case reported in 1981, HIV/AIDS has taken the lives of 25 million people worldwide. And it’s reported that there are currently 33.4 million people right now living with HIV/AIDS.

Of those 33.4 million people, there are currently 1.1 million living in the United States.

Of those 1.1 million people, between the periods of 2008 – 2012 there’s been a reported 168,000 cases in the New York/New Jersey area alone

What’s more shocking than, is that there’s a reported 1 out of every 6 people in the United States that are currently unaware that they are carrying the virus, and in New York/ New Jersey area the ratio is 1 out of every 5. Which translates to the expectancy of 4,000 new HIV/AIDS cases in the next coming year.

But check it, there is hope for a cure.

And in that spirit of hope, I am honored to announce along with Grind City Music Group and Ablegreen Entertainment, I’ll be aligning my project “BlueSkiesBlackNights” with the 2014 AIDS WALK Of New York City

From now up until May 16, we will be running a campaign called “ARedRibbonForABlueSky”.  All donations will go to the walk and along with your donation you will be receiving an official campaign wristband and access to two singles off my new upcoming project “BlueSkiesBlackNights”

So in honor of all those lost, with hopes to one day find a cure, I urge everyone to please support and grant the gift of a blue sky to all those who have been affected by HIV/AIDS virus.
